STOP IT! She thought desperately as she raised the bat high, her eyes wild as she tore through the dozenth window, smashing it into thousands of pieces, her teeth clenched. The voice was forever in her head, apologizing over and over and over again. He was there...following her everywhere, at all times. At school, back at home, in the bath and even bed. Mind in a crazed haze she stepped forward, dragging the bat behind her across the floor. Hidden beneath her bangs, the sound of glass breaking crunched beneath her shoes as she walked unmindful of the broken, jagged shards beneath her feet...

[Standing with Keiichi's bat, which had still been left in the bedroom, Rena stood with it raised, the window inside of her bedroom smashed in. Frozen, her breathing is short and heavy as she stares un-moving at the jagged pieces that managed still cling to the frame.]

Does anyone else really miss Rika-chan? 

It's better that she be home. I want her to stay there. Hinamizawa isn't an easy place to leave. And residents shouldn't try to. The city isn't always an ideal place to live, either. But it is a little more lonely without her...  It seems like the apartment has become a bit more quiet. Maybe I should go exploring...I've been wanting to find out a bit more about the parts of the City that might hold the answers we need to returning home, too.

Lilith-san, is there anyway that I can speak to you? I had a favor to ask!

From an enemy? It's less than impressive. Especially when you consider the amount of children in the city. Root beer was one thing, and at least an alternative to people my own age and younger. Making a command that would purposefully put someone else into danger for no more reason than sick enjoyment however is ridiculous. There isn't any reason for it, and is irresponsible as well. It's disgusting to think that the people running our lives here would try and demand something like that.

I'm still getting used to the fact that we're actually trapped here, but everyone at the apartment has been really nice. Hee hee, Rena went treasure hunting the other day. Guess what Rena found, Guess what Rena found~! I hope no one minds some of the new additions around the apartment. Aren't they so cute? Aren't they? I took them home with me!

With Keiichi-kun and Rika-chan here, The City doesn't seem so bad yet. Demo...Rena probably needs to go back to Hinamizawa...sometime soon. In the meantime though, I don't mind being with everyone. It's lots of fun!

[On the outskirts of the city, near the woods, one 14 year old girl with short orange-ish brown hair is wandering about, looking around her uncertainly. Raising her voice, she calls out loudly.]

Ano…Keiichi-kun-! Mi-chan~~? Are you still hiding? Maybe everyone can come out now, okay? Okay?

[Confused, she glanced about her perplexed. Why…didn’t anything look familiar?]

I hate this....I hate this...I HATE IT.

[Raising her machete over her head she smashed it into the table for the hundredth time. Glass was shattered across the floor, broken bits of plates and cups laying in jagged pieces. Anger, insanity and confusion at the emotions bubbling within her coursed through her system. Barefoot her feet were tattered from all the broken bits of glass. The entirety of the room was in ruin. The table had long since caved beneath the sharp blade of her cleaver, chairs upturned and broken. A couple of cupboard doors hung crookedly, others with holes smashed into them from where she had left her mark.

Her chest heaved as she stared at the ruin surrounding her. Her knuckles were white from the grip she held on her weapon.
Time was running out. Rena knew she didn't have much time left. Even now she could feel as the disgusting bugs inside of her twisted and turned. She trembled as she sucked in a breath.  Nothing was safe. The flu, what if it wasn't just a byproduct of the city. Those people were always studying...working to create what Rena KNEW posed a threat to the inhabitants here. Never mind that no one seemed to ever believe her.  She took another angry swing into the table. It was already too late.]

It's a little late in coming, but...I had a lot of fun at the masquerade! Was it as nice for everyone else? I think everyone looked good enough to take home! Lilith-san worked very hard on my costume, and I appreciated it. It...was sad that there were a few individuals that were unable to make it. Joshua-kun...though I don't think he generally likes that kind of atmosphere anyway. I...I especially was happy with my company for the night. Keiichi-kun....you make a great gunslinger. You do! Even though there is so much...so many bad things right now...I...I had fun.

I wonder what November holds for everyone now, I wonder. This month...Rena knows that the city will be made a MUCH safer place.

So people are really going to dress up for Halloween? They are~? Hinamizawa is such a small village, it wasn't really celebrated back home, especially since it is mainly a western holiday. I thought originally...it was supposed to be a very.... very different celebration....

It's lonely....but I don't need anyone. Friends just betray you, that's the way the world works. Even before I figured out what they were plotting, I knew things felt off...
